NAVIKA JAPAN TOUR - 2026
Are flights included in the package?
Flights are not included. Participants will book their own round‑trip flights to Tokyo.
What time should guests arrive in Tokyo?
Arrive on or before November 21st. The tour begins on November 22nd morning.
Which airport should we fly into (HND or NRT)?
It is recommended to fly into Narita Airport (NRT). Narita is about 100 km from Tokyo and offers more international flight options. Haneda (HND) is closer to the city but has fewer flights. After you book the tour, we will guide you with flight suggestions and the best arrival options.
Will airport pickup be available if we fly in early?
Group pickup is available on November 21st. Early arrival pickup can be arranged at an additional cost.
Will there be airport pickup?
Kannada Premi & Kannadottama: Group transportation
Kannada Shikara: Private airport transportation
Do we book our own flights?
Yes. You will book your own flights
What happens if my airline changes or reschedules my flight?
Share your updated arrival time with us so we can guide you accordingly.
What happens if I miss my flight or connection?
Please inform us immediately with your updated arrival details, and we will guide you.
Will transport be arranged from HND and NRT airports?
Yes. Transportation will be arranged from both airports on November 21, 2026.
Which hotels are included in the 3★ package?
Tokyo: Akabaneholic Hotel or similar Hiroshima: Intergate Hotel Hiroshima or similar Osaka: Hotel Forza Osaka Kitahama or similar Final list will be shared once confirmed.
Which hotels are included in the 4★ package?
Tokyo: Hotel Springs Makuhari Premier / Hotel Francs or similar

Which hotels are included in the 5★ package?
Tokyo: Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay or similar

If we arrive a day early (Nov 20), how much is an extra night?
Approximately $120–$150 per room per night (double occupancy).
What are the room sizes?
Japanese hotel rooms are generally smaller than U.S. hotel rooms. Exact sizes vary by hotel category.
Can I extend my stay before or after the tour?
Yes. Additional nights can be arranged.
What meals are included?
Daily breakfast at hotels
Lunch & Dinner at Indian restaurants
One or two Japanese meals may also be included.
Will vegetarian or special dietary meals be available?
Yes, with prior notice.

What is the child policy?
Ages 3–5 (No Bed): 50%
Ages 6–11 (Extra Bed): 60%

Is transportation separate for Kannada Shikara?
Yes.
Can I change from single occupancy to double occupancy later?
Yes, subject to room availability and a suitable roommate.
Can non-Kannadigas join the trip?
Yes.
What is the initial deposit?
The $1000 deposit must be paid before July 15th to secure your booking and receive the lowest price. Once the deposit is made, your price is locked until August 7th for all three packages - Kannada Premi, Kannadottama, and Kannada Shikara. If the remaining balance is paid after August 7th, the updated increased price will apply.
Note: $1000 deposit is per person (per traveller).
When is the last day to pay without a price increase?
July 15, 2026.
Is there an extra charge for credit card payments?
No.
What is the cancellation policy?
Before Aug 23 (90+ days): 25%
Aug 23–Sept 22: 50%
Sept 23–Oct 22: 75%
Oct 23 onwards: No Refund
No refunds for no-shows or unused services.
Do U.S. citizens need a Japan visa?
No.
Do Green Card holders or Indian passport holders need a visa?
Yes. Green Card holders do need a Japan visa because visa rules depend on your passport, not your U.S. residency. If you hold an Indian, Sri Lankan, Bangladeshi, or Nepal passport, you must apply for a Japan Tourist Visa.
NAVIKA will provide all supporting documents such as the itinerary, hotel confirmations, and group travel details, but each traveler must apply for their own visa directly at the Japan Consulate that covers their U.S. residential address. NAVIKA or the travel agency cannot submit the visa application on your behalf.
How long does visa processing take?
Approximately 5–10 business days.
Is travel insurance mandatory?
Yes.
Which travel insurance is recommended?
Recommendations will be shared later.
Does travel insurance include medical coverage?
Most plans do.
What medications should I carry?
Carry personal prescriptions and basic medicines for fever, cold, acidity, and motion sickness.
What happens if I fall sick?
The guide will assist with clinic or hospital visits.
How much cash should I carry (excluding shopping)?
Approximately $200 per person.
How much should we tip?
$5 per person per day (Guide + Driver).
Are tips included?
No.
Will bottled water be provided?
Yes. Two bottles per person per day.
What happens if we arrive late and miss sightseeing?
Japan follows strict schedules. Please be punctual.
Is there a travel agent for flight bookings?
We are working on group flight booking options.
Are we doing anything special for Thanksgiving?
Yes. Details will be announced later.
